Hey, I’m Tash B

Natasha Buttler Profile round

For over 15 years I have successfully written and implemented marketing strategies for businesses from different industries with different target audiences and with varying budgets. What I discovered was that the formula for developing a marketing plan for fertiliser is basically the same as a marketing plan for bourbon, which is basically the same for ladies sports apparel.

It doesn’t matter what you are trying to sell or who you are trying to sell it to, the processes involved to market your business are basically the same.

After climbing the corporate ladder for 15 years, spending more time away from home than actually there, a corporate restructure made my role redundant.  I was more than ready to take some time to recharge my batteries and spend some time with my family.  To help fill in my days I served in my local community, helping the small businesses with their marketing.  I loved seeing how the small tactics we implemented were able to help grow their business within their budgets.

I knew I had found my new calling.

My program will help you overcome the overwhelm of marketing your business by putting together simple systems and templates to consistently and effectively promote your business and introduce you to technologies that help make marketing your business more efficient.

Campaigns that I have designed and implemented have won awards, increased the profile of the brand and most importantly, increased sales.

Imagine where your business could go.

Professional Bio

Natasha Buttler studied Business at Ballarat University.  Moving to Adelaide in 1999 she first started in advertising with News Ltd Suburban Newspapers before joining the marketing department of one of Australia’s largest agribusinesses, Elders.  It was here that her Fertiliser on Target campaign won the Australian Institute of Marketing’s award for best campaign in SA in 2005.

About Image 1A relocation to Melbourne in 2006 Natasha took up the Marketing Manager position with Australian manufacturer, importer and exporter of drill bits and cutting tools, Sutton Tools.  A challenging position with inventory of over 20,000 product lines incorporating 6 brands, the company services both the specialised industrial market and the consumer hardware market.

An opportunity was presented in 2010 for Natasha to gain FMCG and alcohol experience by joining the marketing team at Independent Distillers to manage the dark spirit portfolio, including Woodstock Bourbon and Highland Scotch.  During her tenure she proactively managed all elements of the marketing mix in order to deliver short, medium and long term brand equity, category and profit contribution objectives.  That was until the federal government introduced a tax on all pre-mixed alcoholic beverages and through the market into disarray.

Wanting to expand her sales and product management experience Natasha was responsible for launching Moving Comfort, a US leading sports bra and sports apparel brand to the Australian market in 2010.  She managed and implemented the entire Moving Comfort brand launch to the Australian market including product selection, pricing, inventory, sales and distribution, marketing and communications.  After building the brand and gaining distribution in major retail outlets in Australia and New Zealand, the brand was taken over by Brooks Running and ceased to exist as a brand in it’s own right.

Natasha started consulting with local businesses in 2015 and found that many of them needed coaching support and training to market their businesses which led to her developing her training and coaching programs.

Fun stuff you may (or may not) like to know

I’m the type of girl who thinks work should be fun.  If your not doing something you love go out and find something you do.  I love building campaigns and seeing how the brands I manage influence people.  And I have had so much fun doing that in the past.  Now I am loving helping businesses do that for themselves.

My beautiful daughter and I at the beach overlooking Magnetic Island.

I loved my corporate life.  I loved wearing the suits, presenting at board meetings, working late, working as a team to achieve a common goal and travelling with my job.  But I am really loving my new job, helping you achieve these things now.

My family and I just relocated from Ballan, a town with a population of 2,000 people located 75km north west of Melbourne, Victoria to Townsville in beautiful North Queensland, at the start of the Great Barrier Reef.  I have traded my high heels for sandshoes and business suits for all round summer wear. Board meetings now happen electronically.  My drive and passion to achieve these things haven’t changed, just the location of my office.  I can’t wait to help you develop and implement your next marketing campaign to BOOST your business to the next level.
